Normally the character would be in conflict with themselves, others, the society or even natural disasters (those humans cannot control). there are different types of drama ; these are romantic drama , crime drama, courtroom drama, sports drama and period drama. The Drama Genre was formed in the 18Th century to show a particular character or characters fighting life itself and going different conflicts that people meet in general life.
